The Beginning

From the moment we crossed paths, we knew it was something special—love at first sight.

In 2016, on Ally’s birthday, we met. She was 18, and Cole was 20. From the moment we crossed paths, we knew it was something special—love at first sight. We couldn’t imagine being apart, and soon, we were introducing each other to our families. Everything just fell into place.

A year later, Ally moved into Cole’s cozy downtown apartment, and we started building our life together. After a while, we decided to plant our roots and bought a home in South City, close to our jobs.

In 2019, after three amazing years together, Cole proposed, and Ally became his forever. Our love story was just beginning, and we couldn’t wait to see where it would take us.

Our Wedding

We were so thankful to share that moment with everyone who made it unforgettable.

Wedding Day!
We got married in September 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. It was a special time for us, despite everything being uncertain; our love remained unwavering. At the time, Ally was managing a wedding dress shop, and she had spent countless hours dreaming about her big day. It felt surreal to finally be the bride, saying yes to her dream person. Our wedding was beautiful, surrounded by 110 of our closest family and friends, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect celebration. We were so thankful to share that moment with everyone who made it unforgettable.

They take pride in giving back through various forms of community service, such as volunteering in community gardens, organizing food drives, and providing gifts to families during Christmas.

Disney Trip

Every couple of years, we take a trip to Disney, one of our favorite traditions. We love everything about Disney—the magic, the fun, and the memories—and can’t wait to share these special experiences with our future children.

Traditions

Some of our traditions: seeing Santa, decorating for fall, Valentine‘s Day party, making cookies, Christmas decorating, and watching Christmas lights.

Ally's Family

Ally grew up in a close-knit family with her younger sister, Emily, who is just 13 months apart. Their dad, Darren, is a dedicated firefighter, and their mom, Cristy, works in healthcare, instilling values of hard work and service to others. Ally’s family is deeply rooted in togetherness, sharing meals, holidays, and countless memories. Living just five minutes away from her grandparents, Bev and Kenny, Ally has a special bond with them, calling them her best friends. Her husband, Cole, has become an integral part of the family and is close to everyone as well. Whether it’s celebrating birthdays, lending a helping hand, or simply enjoying time together, Ally and Cole’s family cherishes their connection and values the joy of supporting one another through every season of life.

Cole's Family

Cole grew up on a small farm with his two brothers, Austin and Luke. Cole and Austin are just 10 months apart, sharing a unique and close bond, while Luke is 2 years older, often taking on a protective and supportive role. Together, the brothers spent their childhood helping care for chickens and cows, fostering a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility. His mother, Marsha, is a nurse, and his father, Randy, works as a maintenance manager at a plane company, both providing a strong example of dedication and perseverance. Family has always been at the heart of Cole’s life, with his grandparents living just around the corner from his parents’ home. Every Sunday, the family would come together for Sunday dinners at his grandparents’ house, creating traditions and lifelong memories rooted in love and connection.

Meet Diesel

Diesel is a playful and affectionate Devon Rex, a rescued breeder cat who has made snuggling his life’s mission. He loves nothing more than sprawling on top of you, claiming his spot as your constant companion. Belly rubs are his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily stretch out to enjoy every single one. Diesel also adores being held, content to stay in your arms for as long as possible. If he feels ignored, he’ll meow sweetly to remind you that it’s time for attention. With his goofy personality and endless cuddles, Diesel is a lovable companion who fills every moment with joy.

Meet Lana

Lana is a perfect blend of sweetness and sass, a beautiful ragdoll cat who traveled all the way from Russia to steal hearts. Once a breeder cat, she now reigns as the queen of cuddles in her forever home. Her soft, silky fur practically invites belly rubs, which she adores, rewarding you with contented purrs. With her loving personality and a touch of sass, Lana brings endless joy and charm to every moment.

Our Home

In 2021, Ally and Cole moved back home to be closer to family. Ally’s grandma lives just two minutes down the road, while her parents are only 10 minutes away, and Cole’s parents are just 15 minutes away. They settled in a close-knit neighborhood in the suburbs, known for having some of the best schools.

Ally's Work

Ally works for a French luxury skincare company in retail, where she enjoys amazing benefits, including excellent maternity paid time off and a flexible schedule perfect for balancing work and family. As part of a B Corp-certified company, Ally and her team are committed to community outreach, supporting initiatives that help women enter the workforce, receive care, and empower themselves. They also contribute to local community gardens, fostering sustainability and growth. Ally is grateful to work for a company that aligns with her values and offers a great work-life balance.

Meet Ally

I’m Ally, and I grew up in a wonderfully loving family with my sister, who’s a year younger than me. As a kid, I was always active, playing sports like softball and golf, with golf becoming my primary sport as I got older. I also faced reading challenges and was diagnosed with dyslexia, which meant I had to work a little harder at school. But I learned how to navigate the system and now feel passionate about helping others do the same. As a child, I absolutely loved having tea parties. Whether with my dolls, stuffed animals, or friends, I’d gather everyone around for a little fun and creativity. It was one of those small joys that made childhood so special. Ally worked in retail for many years, and after our wedding, I spent a few years as a wedding planner. When Cole and I decided to start planning for a family, I made a career change to avoid the long weekend hours, and now I work at a French luxury skincare brand, which I truly enjoy.

Cole's Work

Cole has been working for a pharmaceutical company for nine years, where he is now a supervisor. He oversees cell culture and the production of cancer medicines, as well as other types of life-changing medications that improve and save lives. Cole takes great pride in his work, knowing that his contributions play a critical role in helping patients around the world. He loves his job and is passionate about the meaningful impact it has. The company offers excellent benefits and is a great place to work, providing a supportive and rewarding environment that allows Cole to thrive both professionally and personally.

Meet Cole

Cole grew up in a loving, tight-knit family with two brothers. They lived on a farm in a small town, surrounded by cows and chickens. It was a simple, fulfilling life, and he’s always been grateful for the strong family bonds they shared. He did very well in school, always striving to do his best in everything he took on. Growing up, Cole was involved in Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout—an accomplishment that taught him a lot about hard work and perseverance. Every Sunday, his family would gather for dinner with all of their cousins and siblings, and those moments are some of his favorite memories. It was always a time to connect, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company—something he holds close to his heart. Cole went to college for a little while but eventually returned home, where he began working in pharmaceuticals. Over the years, he’s grown his career and is now becoming a supervisor at a global pharmaceutical company. The sky is the limit, and he’s excited about the future and the opportunities ahead.
